Bill moved into his role of Kitchen Manager after having worked as a Chewonki cook for six years. Aside from managing on-campus dining, Bill plays an active role in preparing meals, works with participants in the kitchen, and oversees the final processing of Chewonki’s dairy products.
Bill graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in hospitality management and has over 38 years experience in the field of culinary arts. A native of Maine, he has worked in restaurants in New England and as far away as Utah. Before coming to Chewonki he spent 14 years as executive chef at an inn on the coast of Maine.

Bill lives in Topsham and enjoys cheesemaking and fly fishing.
