Sarah Rebick, an alumna of Maine Coast Semester 8, is a member of Maine Coast Semester’s English team. She describes herself as “a passionate educator” who tries to bring out the best in her students and athletes. She has designed and taught traditional English courses as well as rigorous, innovative, co-disciplinary courses at The Watershed School and Church Farm School. However, her longest tenure was the ten years she spent at Northfield Mount Hermon School, where in addition to serving as part of the English faculty, she was the founding chair of the school’s Task for Sustainability, served four years as an elected member on the Executive Committee of the faculty, and was a member of the dorm staff for both female and male dorms.
Sarah spent multiple summers at Wyonegonic Camps in the role of trip coordinator, wilderness trip leader, and program director. An avid runner, she has coached students throughout her teaching career and is the founder and coach of Boulder Motion, an adult running program.
Sarah holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Middlebury College and a MA in English from Bread Loaf School of English.
